Our Leg Club

Bringing The Cranborne Practice Legs Heal Together Club back to Verwood

The Cranborne Practice is delighted to announce the relaunch of our Legs Heal Together Club, and we are looking for passionate local volunteers to help us get off the ground! For those unfamiliar with the model, a Leg Club isn’t just a clinic; it’s a unique, social way of providing leg health care. By moving treatment out of a sterile GP surgery and into a friendly community setting, we aim to tackle the social isolation that so often accompanies chronic lower-limb conditions.

Why We Need You
While clinical care is provided by nursing teams, the "heart" of the club is its volunteers. We are looking for friendly faces as Social Champions to bridge the gap between clinic and community. You are the heartbeat of the club, ensuring that every person who walks through the door feels like a guest, not a patient. By facilitating conversation and providing refreshments, you help us combat the social isolation often associated with long-term leg conditions.

A Shared Mission for Wellbeing
Our mission is to provide high-quality lower-limb clinical treatment in a non-clinical, community environment. By supporting the Leg Club, you aren’t just helping heal legs; you are building friendships and improving mental health. We would love to chat with anyone interested in joining our volunteer committee or who might enjoy giving a few hours of their time to a meaningful new project. No medical experience is required—just a warm heart and a willingness to help.
