Ordering prescriptions directly through your GP practice rather than through a pharmacy offers many benefits, especially when maintaining continuity of care.

When you request prescriptions via your GP, our clinicians can review your complete medical history and ensure that each medication is appropriate for your current needs. We understand the importance of making this process as simple as possible.  Patients can order prescriptions through several easy methods:

• Online using the NHS App, through your SystmOnline Patient Access account or the Airmid App

• New! Make a medication request online using our SystmConnect consultation service

• New! Email your medication requests to cranborne.reception@dorsetgp.nhs.uk

If you prefer, you can drop off a repeat prescription request slip at Reception. Please note that we do not take repeat prescriptions over the telephone or via answerphone at either Lake Road or Cranborne Surgeries. This is to ensure patient safety and avoid mistakes.
